Born Again

"Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born again." (John 3:3)
It’s clear that every human being must be born again to SEE the Kingdom. I encourage you to read through this page to learn what is required to ENTER into the Kingdom.

Born Again Christian Ministries believes that every word out of an evangelist, pastors or preacher needs to be supported by God’s Words written in the Holy Bible. "...... Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: "So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge."(Romans 3:4)

The Power of God's Word

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". (John 1:1) "In the beginning was the Word" - the Word didn't just show up at the beginning, it didn't just happen to be there in the beginning, the Word was the beginning. Without the Word there wouldn't have been a person, place or thing, visible and invisible. "and the Word was with God" - Two distinct separate supreme beings co-existing together in the beginning. "and the Word was God" - The Word and God are the same or one. "I and my Father are one". (John 10:30) The Father (God) and Son (Word) are united to form one supreme being. Similar to the United States, 50 individual states combined to form one whole country. The Word (the Son) and God (the Father) united with the same control and power over heaven & earth. Not one person, as most people think. To say that Jesus and God are one person or two persons would make them mortal and subject to death like human beings. The Word (Son) and God ( the Father) are supreme beings, not human beings.

Everlasting Life Through Jesus Christ

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth." (John 1:14) "And the Word was made flesh" - The Word with all of its power transformed into flesh. The Word became Jesus. "and dwelt among us" - The Word (now Jesus) lived as a resident on earth. Why did the Word decide to become a resident on earth? To correct the mistake Adam (the first man on earth) made. Adam is responsible for bringing death into the world by disobeying God. Because of Adam's sin (disobedience) every man who commits a sin dies an eternal death. The sentence of eternal death does not apply to believers in this dispensation (a period of time under which mankind is answerable to God for how it has obeyed the revelation of God which it has received). Believers have forgiveness of sins and eternal life because about 2000 years ago God sent his son to defeat death and bring forgiveness of sins. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". (John 3:16)

Step 1: Confess and Believe for Salvation

"The word is near to you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord." and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9) If you believe in Jesus Christ (the Word in the flesh), you will believe the previous scripture and any scripture written in the Holy Bible. "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven." But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33 Confess - (an admission of sins and the profession of belief in Jesus Christ) and believe (trust in God's words, the gospel of Jesus Christ) and you will be saved (rescued or freed) from sin and death (the result of sin). If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple (follower of Christ). Luke 14:26 It takes a strong commitment to be a follower of Jesus. Christ has to be more important than your car, your house, your family, your friends, even your own life. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved". (Romans 10:13) Salvation is for all of God's creation, white, black or brown it doesn't matter. You call your mother's name or your father's name because you know they will answer. Why? Because you believe they exist and respond when you call them. Therefore, you must believe Jesus exists before you call on his name.

Step 2: Repent - Turn away from sin.

After you have confessed and believed, you then need to turn your back on sin. Repent-To feel deeply regretful and sorry for past sins and seek to change your life for Jesus Christ. Turn away from the former way of life that leads to destruction and live a new life for Jesus. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" (2-Corinthians 5:17) Anyone who has truly accepted or believe the Lord Jesus Christ, would be more than willing to obey his words and to take any additional steps to convince Jesus of their commitment to live their life for him.

Spiritual Birth

When God is convinced of your faith in him a spiritual birth will take place. Born Again - A new life through spiritual re-birth with a commitment to serving Jesus Christ. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5) According to this scripture, anyone can enter into the kingdom of God if they are born of the water and of the spirit. SPIRITUAL BIRTH GIVES YOU ACCESS TO THE "KINGDOM OF GOD".

Step 3: Water Baptism

The water birth is the traditional baptism when a person is plunged or immerse in water. Its a spiritual ceremony where a believer publicly declares their belief or trust in Jesus Christ"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life (born again)". (Romans 6:4) When a person is baptized he or she participates in Christ's death, burying the old person and its evil desires in the water, resurrecting (rising) as a new creature pure and freed from sin.

Step 4: Filled with the Holy Spirit

The spiritual birth takes place when a person receives or is filled with the Holy Spirit. "When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues and the Spirit enabled them". (Acts 2:1-3)
The Holy Spirit is the part of God that dwells inside our earthly tent (the body) which gives us the invisible power needed to overcome the flesh and its evil desires. The apostle Paul writes, "Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come".(2-Corinthians 5:5) Therefore, the Spirit is God's stamp of approval that guarantees you a position in the kingdom of God.

The Evidence - Spiritual Gifts

How will I know if I have received the Holy Spirit? There are several spiritual gifts God gives to those who have his spirit. A spiritual gift is the evidence or proof that a person has the Holy Spirit. What are the spiritual gifts? "Now to each one the manifestation (evidence) of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines". (1-Corinthians 12:7-11) If God has blessed you with his Holy Spirit, you will receive at least one of the spiritual gifts mentioned in the previous scriptures. "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" (Luke 11:13

Now you know what it means to be born again and have everlasting life with salvation. When it's time for you to leave this earth and return to God for judgment you will be without excuse because God knows that you have just read the contents of this page. "Therefore God set a certain day, calling it Today, when a long time later he spoke through David: "Today if you hear his voice, do not harden you hearts". (Hebrews 4:7) Don't harden your hearts, believe Jesus Christ right now! Turn away from the life you are living right now which leads to destruction and live a new life Holy and acceptable to God.
